History

Braddon Printing, established in 1928 in Sussex Street, Sydney, originally specialised in flat sheet and general print work, specifically servicing the large city-based insurance companies such as QBE. After 23 years in Sussex Street and then 23 years in Woolloomooloo, Sydney, Braddon was providing commercial print services to a substantial and loyal client base.

With the advent of the computer form, Braddon acquired its first web rotary offset press, moving to the current 2.2 acre premises at Lidcombe in 1973.

Braddon carved a niche for itself in the continuous forms industry becoming a major supplier to large corporations and government departments, many of whom are still today loyal clients.

Today

Braddon now offers a complete print service, including forms and general print management. The company owned premises at Lidcombe incorporates the Administration/Sales Office, Art and Pre-Press Department, Printing Plant and Store/Distribution Warehouse.

Braddon is a 100% Australian Company, still owned and operated by the original founder's family. This continuity and stability has contributed to close and lasting relationships with both customers and suppliers, as well as the retention of key personnel.

Our capacity to provide customers with on-time deliveries is due to our production flexibility which can allow for extremely fast turnaround if required. This is further enhanced by the fact we are centrally located within the Sydney metropolitan area.

Because our large presses print up to 8 colours in one pass and use continuous fed paper reels resulting in faster running speeds than sheet fed presses, Braddon's prices are very competitive. Braddon's investment in technology, which established us in the continuous forms industry previously, has continued with ongoing upgrades of our graphic/design and pre-press facilities, an eight colour UV press, integral card and label machinery, a high tech roll collator and, most recently, in barcoding and personalisation equipment.

Over the past several years Braddon has developed a Quality Assurance program. Should a product or service not conform to our required standards, we act immediately to correct the problem and prevent reoccurrence, then review procedures if necessary. These procedures extend throughout our organisation, from point of order to our despatch and accounting departments. This has been invaluable in improving procedures and communication to ensure a quality product and superior service.
